BowTech going to full draw
|

|
| "By building our own
facilities
we will reduce turnaround times on every order and will better maintain our exacting BowTech quality
standards," said CEO John Strasheim. |
Creswell, OR (December 4, 2002) – BowTech has just completed consolidation of its corporate offices and all manufacturing facilities into a 50,000 square-foot building on the outskirts of Eugene, Oregon. The relocation brings all of the operational and administrative functions of the company under one roof. This will allow BowTech to be even more efficient in its daily processes and provides room for two major expansions to its manufacturing capabilities and to the services it provides customers. The move to the new facility and operational additions for the 2003 model year follow the completion of a major capitol injection.
BowTech’s new address is:
90554 Highway 99 North
Eugene, OR 97402
Toll Free 888-689-1289
Direct 541-284-4711
The first major expansion will be a fully automated dipping facility taking about 20,000 square feet of the building. This new dipping operation will be designed to apply the coatings on all BowTech bows and accessories, but will also be capable of turning out customized coatings for a wide variety of applications. The second expansion will include a new machining and research & development center that will be exclusively dedicated to producing machined parts.
“We currently outsource all of our dipping and machining,” said John Strasheim, the CEO of BowTech. “By building our own facilities, we become much more responsive to the marketplace, we will reduce turnaround times on every order and will better maintain our exacting BowTech quality standards.”
The existing 50,000 square foot building is located on 14 acres, and contains a retail store area. BowTech will add a factory outlet store selling directly to the consumer and have both indoor and outdoor shooting ranges where customers can shoot bows before they purchase.
BowTech, Inc. (www.bowtecharchery.com), the manufacturer and distributor of the world’s fastest bows, was founded in 1999 by CEO and Chairman of the Board, John Strasheim, and by Vice President of Research and Development, Kevin Strother. BowTech continues to be the fastest growing bow company in history. The company holds patents on the world’s fastest single, dual, and triple cam bows, along with the patent-pending SandTrap Technology. Each is a BowTech original.
