Sure Fire Back Tension Release Training Kit
Zenith
Archery Products has introduced a new product, designed to teach archers
how to get started in shooting a back tension release.
The Sure Fire Back Tension Release Kit was developed by us in
response to the comment by archers repeatedly heard at shoots and trade
shows; "I can't use a back tension release. I tried one once and I
punched myself in the mouth."
We think this kit will help overcome this problem for the
beginner as well as the advanced archer. We're so certain of it that we're
backing it up with a money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with
the results obtained by using the kit, Zenith will refund your full
purchase price, minus shipping, no questions asked.
The kit includes your choice of a two, three or four finger
Comfort 2 release in either multi-colored anodized cast aluminum or bead
blasted brass. The handle is equipped with a wrist strap to eliminate the
possibility of letting the release go during a shot.
The CNC machined head includes three different cams. The full
moon practice cam, which will not allow the bowstring to be released, has
two practice modes. The first uses a 0.008" clicker notch, first
introduced by Zenith several years ago.
The clicker is used as a reference and allows the archer to
use more than one finger when drawing the bow. Without the clicker, the
initial rotation of the handle becomes critical, leading to pre-fires and
sore index fingers. For those who don't want to use the clicker, the other
practice notch has a smooth shooting edge.
The full moon allows the archer to to use his bow to
completely simulate a shot. Rather than the arrow being fired, the shot
ends with a "click" from the release and the bow can then be let
down safely. After developing a safe shot routine with the practice cam
the archer can switch to one of the two shooting cams provided with the
kit. One of the shooting cams features the 0.008 clicker and the other is
smooth.
The feature of the kit, which Zenith believes will allow all
archers to learn to use a back tension release, is the included VHS
videotape. The archer is taught how to assemble the release (which comes
unassembled), the proper way to hold and cock it, how to hook it up to the
bowstring and finally how to shoot it the proper way. The eleven-minute
video visually takes you through the learning process from A to Z and is
the main reason Zenith is able to offer our no-risk money back guarantee.
