Worlds
A single arrow to fly Aug. 17, 2003, for BIG money
Flushing, MI It's big money time again. The $100,000 Shoot Out happens
again this year at the IBO World's in West Virginia, Aug. 14 - 17, 2003.
The event sponsors include Carbon Express, Bow Tech, and Bowtree, Inc. Last
year's event was so successful that even more money and prizes are up for
grabs. Last year, there were shooters competing for up to $60,000 in cash
and prizes. This year's cash prize is up to $100,000! In addition to the
cash prize, several sponsors will be providing merchandise totaling over
$50,000.
New this year is the Sweet Sixteen format. Sixteen names will be drawn on
Saturday, August 16 for a head to head shoot down on Sunday, August 17. This
single elimination shoot down advances winners each round. In the end, there
will be one shooter left standing who will have the opportunity to shoot one
arrow for $100,000! Each of the 16 Shooters that are drawn will win prizes
and cash based on the place finished. In addition, one additional name, from
all Long Distance Shoot participants, will be drawn to shoot for the
$100,000.
In order to be eligible for the $100,000 Shoot Out, you must shoot the Long
Distance Shoots at any of the I.B.O. Triple Crown events. You may also enter
by shooting at the Worlds Shoot on August 14 - 16, 2003. This will be a fun
time and will draw great interest in the sport of archery that has been
missing. 50% of the money raised will go to the Bow Hunters Defense with the
other 50% going to the cash prize. Contact any of the Sponsors for more
information on shooting or becoming involved as a sponsor.
