Lite Storm

Sorry, no cut-line for this picture since there wasn't a review.

Mar. 16, 2001— My apologies to everyone waiting patiently for the release my field review on the new Merlin Lite Storm bow.

I was first told that I would be getting an evaluation bow after the 2001 AMO show.  I was then told they wanted to wait until the end of February, the projected release their newest bow — the Lite Storm.

After a few e-mails to remind them of our agreement, I was told it wasn't a good time and that they were behind about four weeks on production.  I was never informed of this problem until I made a few contact attempts.

I understand at some point in time most all companies go through supply and demand problems (good and bad).  If supply does not meet the demand, the supply should be temporarily substituted with good communication to customers and potential customers.

I'm sure Merlin builds quality archery equipment and is a decent company, but their customer service may need a little help with communication.  May be something to think about when shopping for your next bow.
